About Boztik

What Boztik is

Boztik is an independent creative brand with two connected sides: hands-on photo editing and restoration work, and free software for working with images.

The software is the Boztik Creative Toolkit, a browser extension for Chrome and Microsoft Edge (currently version 3.2) listed on the Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons, plus two tools that run on this site: the Image Inspector and the Creative Assistant.

The editing side is described on the Services page, with examples in the Portfolio. The Guides are short articles on restoration, object removal and retouching.

Who is behind it

Boztik is a one-person operation. I edit photos and build software, and the tools exist because that editing work kept running into the same problems: repetitive image analysis, slow asset review and constant tab-switching.

The editing shown in the Portfolio and the tools on this site come from the same person. There is no team or agency behind the name, so a message sent through the Contact page reaches me directly.

What you can find here

• Editing services — photo restoration, portrait and headshot editing, object removal and image enhancement. See Services.
• Boztik Creative Toolkit — a free browser extension for image analysis, color palettes and typography inspection, with an optional AI assistant. See the Creative Toolkit page.
• Image Inspector — a free tool that reads an image you choose and reports its size, palette and rough sharpness and exposure estimates, without uploading the file.
• Creative Assistant — quick answers on Photoshop, Firefly prompts and export settings, with an option to connect your own AI key.
• Guides — articles on photo restoration, object removal, AI versus professional editing, and avoiding an over-edited look.
• Boztik Deliver — private, time-limited links for handing finished work to clients. See how Deliver works.

How Boztik is funded

Income comes from editing work, voluntary contributions through Ko-fi and PayPal (see Support) and, on some pages, advertising. Pages may show ads served by Google AdSense; they are labeled "Advertisements", and Boztik does not endorse the products or services they promote.

The extension is free to install and the tools on this site do not need an account.
